Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Clean and gently dry strawberries with a paper towel. It is important to dry the strawberries so that the chocolate sticks well.
In a microwave bowl, place 2 ounces of your desired chocolate. Melt the chocolate 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted. Add 1/4 teaspoon of the oil to the chocolate and stir well to combine. Add chocolate and oil to bowl as needed.
Holding onto the leaves, dip the strawberries, 3/4 of the way into the melted chocolate. Rotate the strawberry so that all sides are covered, gently shaking any excess chocolate back into the bowl.
If sprinkles or sanding sugar are desired, dip chocolate covered strawberry into the sprinkles or sugar before the chocolate sets.
Place strawberry on a piece of wax paper until the chocolate sets.
To apply a different chocolate, allow first layer to set. Melt the second chocolate and add oil, mixing well. With a spoon or fork, drizzle the chocolate over the strawberry. Allow chocolate to set
